craziness

 This week has been an adventure and just all over the place really. Sometimes it's like that and you just have to push forward. I really wasn't sure about anything this week and couldn't wrap my head around ads. Now that things are getting more complicated and I'm having to change things now it is really starting to confuse me and go over my head. But hopefully, my mentors can help a lot more now that this is their type of work. I also have learned a lot from pretending to know things and having to figure it out. It almost makes you an expert quicker when you act as if you are a successful businessman. I still think that philosophy is crazy and that it works. I have been given many opportunities because of this. Now I have to continue to learn and grow every day sometimes I really think I can't do it anymore and that I'm gonna be a failure but I know if I work harder I will get there.

 This week was a crazy one for sure! The holidays with work and school did not look out for me at all. Quite honestly felt like they were all out to kill me this thanksgiving. But nonetheless, I pressed forward and was able to learn quite a bit from my classmates and usual. This week we went over tracking information again for our websites, we also worked on in some discussions about SEO and how they work and other ideas they had that we can implement in our business. One of the great ideas that were brought to my attention was endorsements, specifically from bigger name brands or companies to have your name partnered or trusted by recognizable companies. This really was a home run for me as in the position I am in for work directly correlates with this and it is fully true. Making a name for yourself and the company is hard so sponsoring or making a partnership is key to success often times.

ADS

This week was interesting. There was not much to really do besides edit and edit our ads again. This was so simple and easy for me until I was taught that editing was an important and key part of ads. We have t see what works and what does not. With this now in mind, I was able to take much more out of this week maybe than others. The other thing I found helpful was watching some ad tutorials on YouTube and being able to learn and take away quite a bit from multiple people. Now realizing what ad optimization can and will do for simple ads is helpful for the future especially. As we change and edit things and learn from our and others' mistakes we can become the experts we need and others will look up to as well. I'm excited to see how my ads perform and what I can do next!

ADs

This week was more collaborative than last week. There were a lot more technical assignments and just on the constructing side of things as well. We downloaded some more apps to help our ads be tracked and save information. We linked our websites to the website we created for our business and we also linked google ads to google analytics. This will track how ads perform on our site and track and log all the information for me as well as suggest improvements for your website. These things are key for your business and website, even more so now as we are starting our website and business. We are beginners so having these tools really helps out and teaches us. Eventually, we can find mentors and other people in the industry to ask questions and help guide us to success it comes in many different ways which I have realized recently. This week has taught me a lot and what I can accomplish.

This week was more ad relevant and learning how we can max the amount of attention we can receive from ads by just rewriting and making simple fixes in our headings and points. This seemed dumb and not worth it but once I reviewed things and noticed how either too specific or too broad in my ad campaigns I realized how double-checking your work and even just coming back to it after two days allows you to really look at it as if you never worked on it and critique yourself. A huge benefit was also getting experienced second opinions from business professional backgrounds and just another big surprise and lesson learned is letting inexperienced people as well take a look as a normal consumer who knows nothing about the business and letting them figure out what it is.  Seeing if my ads are too much if the website works and is everything for a purpose heading and points. 

 This week was pretty exciting altogether. It included really coming up with a strategy of words and ads for the website we built for our businesses. I found it a little harder to come up with these keywords for our ads campaign. I personally have no experience in running ads and feel that I will choose the wrong words. I did realize I can see how they are performing and how money changes where my ads are placed and how often. I decided to put a five-dollar daily limit for my ad campaign because I feel I need to test things out what type of ads i will run and how effective is one keyword versus another. I really enjoyed learning and reading my other classmates' ideas and how they would run ads where and how. I also love seeing this step-by-step process of building a business and I think it's very beneficial to me and what I want to do.

website

 This week was really exciting! I learned a lot of cool things. I was able to build my first website to have buttons actually work and create a successful representation of my business for affiliate marketing. I definitely struggled a lot and so did others when we looked into the legal structure of our potential businesses and how taxes would work. There are so many differences between states and cities. I collaborated with some CPA's and seemed to be even more confused. I think having people with experience help you or guide you is one of the biggest bits of help. Having a mentor changes the learning curve and helps you avoid mistakes that they may have encountered when building and or structuring their businesses. I did have lots of fun building and learning how to add everything to a website. I know this helps me in the future and allow me to have the opportunity to be a mentor to someone later.

Designing

 This week was understanding more about our website. We were taught to make a button with and through PayPal. I quickly discovered it wouldn't be as useful to me and my business as it would be to others and their businesses. As I would be an affiliate and advertisement for a company I wouldn't charge anything. I could create a button as a link so every time a customer wants a solar proposal I could generate it with the information they fill out, or it sends them directly to the company and if the deal goes through I get a portion of the deal as I gave them the lead. This week has me thinking about a lot, including how I want to structure the website and what I want my customer to see and feel when going through my website. I believe its also important to take on feedback and listen to my customers and make those changes for them.

entering new fields

 This week was a bit everywhere for me. It was a lot of emotions, I felt like an emotional rollercoaster. There were so many things to get done that I am so unfamiliar with that sometimes takes a while for me to understand. And then when I feel I understand I end up being completely wrong. This week I was planning just about everything and trying to execute every step which is also always very exhausting sometimes. We learned about website building, domain, and web builders. There is so much new information I am excited to learn about and learn to be able to power right on through all these challenges in the future. Something else that stuck with me is to work in silence and let no other people know what I do and what I am doing to... This builds a good characteristic that helps you surpass everyone and just about anything else you set your mind to. The quote of the day is "Actions speak louder than words". 

Strict barriers broken

 This week was for me everywhere. I have one strict thought process and thinking wow I really feel confident and I got this finally and then read another student's perspective and totally my opinion is changing because what they are saying connects more with what I want for the hypothetical group we are helping. What this taught me is there are so many ways to get to where someone wants to be in the future. There are endless possibilities with business and what product to sell and what business model to use. It truly is an art and I have never thought about it that way. I tend to think this is a strict hard rulebook for success but now in it, I see how the rules change and can bend and that business is flowy and not so tough and rough. Business more relates to a wooden sculpture with all the moving joints and parts that artists use to sculpt what they want.

Business Endeavors

    Business is a very wide topic, it's broad I learned. There are multiple different endless models created to become successful someway, somehow. Just about everything can be monetized because of the world we now live in. That knowledge is key. Knowing any good or service you can think of as a product to sell and provide and executing a business model around that product can lead you to success. Learning about its competition, demand, and history is an important part of selling a product as well as marketing your brand your service, or good is beneficial for exposure and evaluating how your product performs. Understanding the industry and your audience is something to always monitor when selling. Nikes' CEO mentioned that listening to your customers about what they want or how they want something done is crucial for any company and people don't realize that. If you listen to your customers and provide what they want sales will go up and you build a better connection with the people and you tend to stand out for having great customer service. People change and so does your business. Making a plan and studying to improve yourself is the best investment and will take you and your business so much further.
